Bega Valley Rally Update
The Bega Valley Rally is scheduled to run on 11 and 12 June 2016. The VRC Management Group and the event organisers are providing some general information about the event to assist intending competitors plan their participation. Supplementary Regulations are expected to be published soon.
The Bega Valley rally will commence in Bega on the afternoon of Saturday 11 June with two “shire road” stages. The original proposal to run those stages at night is no longer possible site web. The change means that those two stages will not form part of the Focus on Furniture and Bedding Victorian Rally Championship event but VRC competitors are welcome to participate in those stages if they wish.
The VRC component of the Bega Valley Rally is planned to commence in Boydtown, near Eden, at 0800hrs on Sunday 12 June and conclude late that afternoon in Boydtown.
Documentation for competitors doing the complete event will be in Bega from 1000 to 1230hrs on the Saturday. Documentation for competitors doing only the Sunday stages will be at Boydtown Rally Headquarters, the Seahorse Inn Hotel, from 1900 to 2145hrs on the Saturday.
There will be a post-event function commencing 1900hrs at Seahorse Inn Hotel.
The event format is intended to allow VRC competitors to drive to Boydtown on the Saturday and drive home on the Monday, which is a public holiday.
